Delete your ChargeDisha account

You can delete your ChargeDisha account and all personal data tied to it at any time. This page explains the steps, what gets deleted, and what we keep (and for how long).
How to request deletion
Choose either method. Both trigger the same deletion process.
Option 1 — In the app
- Open ChargeDisha on your Android device.
- Tap the profile icon (top-right of the Home screen).
- Scroll to Account → tap Delete my account.
- Confirm the prompt. Your account and data will be queued for deletion.
Option 2 — By email
- Send an email to chopcoding@gmail.com from the email address linked to your Google Sign-In account.
- Use the subject line: Delete my ChargeDisha account.
- We'll confirm the request within 3 business days and complete deletion within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your Firebase Auth record (name, email, user ID).
- Your EV profile (car make, model, battery settings).
- Your trip logs and planning history.
- Your check-ins tied to your user ID.
- Crash and diagnostic records attributed to your account.
What we keep (and why)
- Community contributions (up to 90 days): check-in kW readings, charger-status reports, and reviews are anonymised (detached from your identity) but kept so the community map stays accurate for other drivers. After 90 days we purge the attribution metadata entirely.
- Operational logs (up to 30 days): server-side request logs for security and abuse prevention. These are automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Legal/financial records (as required): none currently apply — ChargeDisha has no paid tier.
Timeline
Deletion is completed within 7 days of your request. You'll receive an email confirmation when it's done.
